About YouTube Tools Hub
Simple, free tools for working with publicly accessible YouTube media and metadata.
YouTube Tools Hub exists for a straightforward reason: creators, researchers and curious viewers regularly need a video's thumbnail, a channel's logo or banner, or the tags attached to a channel or video — and getting them should not require an API key, an account, or a paid service. Every tool here works with information YouTube already makes publicly accessible, and presents it in a clean, download-friendly form.
The five tools
- YouTube Thumbnail Downloader — Download YouTube video thumbnails in every resolution YouTube actually provides, from HD down to the default image.
- YouTube Channel Logo Downloader — Find and download a channel's public profile image (its logo/avatar) in the best size YouTube returns.
- YouTube Channel Banner Downloader — Retrieve a channel's public banner artwork and download the largest version YouTube exposes.
- YouTube Channel Tags Extractor — Look up a channel's name, ID, description and its channel-level keywords when YouTube exposes them.
- YouTube Video Tags Extractor — Extract the tags a creator actually published on a video, when YouTube exposes them in public metadata.
Our honesty rule
A tool that invents a result is worse than a tool that says "not available". Thumbnails are only shown if they really load. Channel images are the ones YouTube actually serves for that channel. Tags and keywords are only listed when they can be read from genuine public metadata — never generated, guessed or borrowed from somewhere else. Where a result depends on YouTube's own availability, the tools explain that dependency instead of hiding it.
Independence
