Information you submit

• Tool inputs. When you use a tool, the YouTube URL or ID you enter is sent to this site's server endpoints (for the channel and video tools) solely to fetch the public information you asked for. The thumbnail tool resolves images directly between your browser and YouTube's image servers. Submitted URLs are not published, listed or sold.
• Contact messages. If you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject and message are processed to deliver your message to our support inbox and to reply to you.

Automatically collected data

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) for security and reliability. Our API endpoints also apply short-lived, in-memory rate limiting, which is not stored long-term.
• Cookies and local storage. This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not use browser local storage for profiling. Your browser may store the site's static files in its normal cache.
• Analytics. No third-party analytics service is installed on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated before or when it happens.

Third-party services

Tool results come from YouTube's public image servers and public channel/video pages, which are operated by Google. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads. Contact delivery, when configured, uses an email delivery provider or webhook endpoint operated by us; your message passes through that provider solely for delivery.

Data retention

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for reasonable record-keeping. Server logs are retained by the hosting provider for a limited period and then rotated.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. API inputs are validated, outputs are rendered safely, and endpoints are rate-limited to reduce abuse. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures proportionate to the limited data involved.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you (in practice, usually just a contact message you sent), and ask for its correction or deletion. Contact us at hello@youtubetoolshub.webappshub.site.
