Channel keywords vs video tags
Channel keywords are set once by the channel owner and live in the channel's own metadata — they are not the same as the tags attached to individual videos. This tool only reports channel-level keywords when YouTube returns them in the channel's public page metadata. Many channels have none set; when that is the case the tool says so, and shows the channel name, ID and description that are available. It never substitutes a video's tags and calls them channel tags.
